OFP Leadership and Class Ambassadors form a layer of structure to support all families’ involvement in the life of the school. Bi-monthly meetings keep collaboration and connection at the heart of the partnership.
Through fundraising efforts and the contributions of their time and talent, the Overfield Family Partnership supports:
Teachers:
- Funding a teacher trip to the North American Reggio Emilia Alliance (NAREA) and to Reggio Emilia, Italy
- Subsidizing classroom supplies
- Showing appreciation through gifts and gestures
Families:
- Facilitating ongoing dialogue and learning about early childhood and parenting
- Creating social connections that grow into friendships and supporting relationships
- Connecting families to the larger community
Campus:
- Contributing to campus and building improvements
- Designing and constructing unique learning environments in collaboration with teachers and children
