Welcome, Jim McCutcheon! We are beyond thrilled to have the Guitar Man as a visiting artist this week. Many thanks to the Ohio Arts Council for helping to provide this opportunity, where the children will get to learn all about the guitar, as well as about stringed instruments from all over the world.
There will be an outdoor concert with Jim on the main playground on Thursday, May 16th, at 6:30 p.m., following the OFP End of Year Picnic. We hope to see you all there!
We are in need of gently used clothes to replinish our extra clothes supply. If you have pants, shirts, or shoes–particularly ones that would fit our older children–we would be grateful for your donation! There will be a box in the Gathering Place where you can leave these items. Thank you!
What a wonderful recognition for our school–the Ohio Division of Wildlife WILD School Site Designation was awarded to The Overfield School in recognition of the efforts of our teachers, students, and school community to benefit people, wildlife, and the environment through continuous constructive action.
We are so proud of the work our Naturalist, teachers, and children do each day to uphold this principle.
