Thursday, March 21: Overfield Family Partnership (OFP) Meeting, 6:30 p.m. in the Gathering Place.

Friday, March 22: Last day of school before Spring Break. School CLOSED 3/25-3/29 for Spring Break; CLOSED Monday, 4/1 for Teacher Professional Development.

Tuesday, April 2: School resumes.

Monday, April 8: School CLOSED for Solar Eclipse.

Tuesday, April 9-Thursday, April 11: Grandparents/Special Friends Days.

Monday, April 15: Summer Camp registration opens online at 8 a.m.

Tuesday, April 16-Thursday, April 18: Class photos. Please see detailed schedule below. Order forms to be sent home the week of April 1st.

OFP is grateful for the Overfield Families who came together this morning. The rain cleared, enabling us to construct and install all 21 new gardens beds. Robin and the children can’t wait to plant this Spring! Also, a big thank you to The Overfield School Founder, Julia Hobart! Julia was honored by winning the Elizabeth Abernathy Hull Award in 2023 from the Garden Club of America (GCA) and given a $1000 prize with it. She generously donated those winnings back to the school, which was used to purchase the materials to complete this project.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Thank you all so much for taking the time to meet with us to discuss your wonderful children. We really appreciate this time of connecting home and school! Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there is anything further you would like to discuss–our door is always open!

Now on display at the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center is an exhibit highlighting creative efforts of K-12 students from Troy City Schools, Troy Christian Schools, St. Patrick School, and The Overfield School. More than 300 pieces of student artwork are featured. The pieces from Overfield students are a very small sample from the incredible amount and quality of artwork produced here all the time as our students respond to their experiences, interests, and observations through various mediums. Nevertheless, it’s good to see our school represented at this local destination alongside neighboring schools. The exhibit is open during Hayner’s regular business hours through Sunday, April 2, 2023. Exhibits at Troy-Hayner Cultural Center are always free and open to the public. We hope you will find time to appreciate the creativity of these talented children!
